Safe Snowmobiling in NO Accident

Snowmobiling DO'S and DON'TS

DO'S

* DO wear a helmet.

* DO wear warm, waterproof clothing and boots.

* DO pull to the right and slow down when you meet another snowmobile coming towards you.

* DO obey speedlimits - 45 mph or slower for safety.

* DO stop and yield to motor vehicles before crossing a road.

* DO stay only on marked snowmobile trails.

* DO take a Snowmobile Safety Education Class, anytime after the age of 12.


DON'TS

* DON'T ever snowmobile alone.

* DON'T cross the ice without checking it first.

* DON'T snowmobile on plowed roads unless you see a sign "Snowmobile Permitted".

* DON'T travel at high speeds.

* DON'T ride with unsafe drivers.
